Fundraising

Here at the 15th Airedale Scouts, we aim to run multiple fundraising events each year to support the running of our group. We also support local charities, doing sponsored activites with staff and children to raise money for those in need.

Our most successful fundraising event to date was Niall Park's (Monday cubs leader) and Andrew Marshall's (Assistant beaver leader) bungee jump in 2013. Niall and Andrew jumped from a 160 ft gantry in an old steel mill to raise funds to help pay for some of our cubs and scouts go to France for an activity week at a PLG camp in Normandy

How to help

To help fund our scout groups and donate to other charities, we will provide information per each event on how you can help. Generally, donations are asked to be made directly to scout group staff on meeting days when dropping off or collecting your child(ren).
